Freedom House Youth!

We're having a Christmas Party!!! :) Instead of just wearing an ugly Christmas sweater, wear an ugly Christmas "outfit", we're going all out! We will be at Freedom House, 7pm-10pm. Bake or bring a snack to share! We will also be doing a gift exchange, in order to participate, please buy a $5 gift. This will be our last official youth night until after Christmas. Next week, make sure you go out to the Living Nativity to support Freedom House. It's on the 16th, 17th & 18th at 7pm & 8pm.

This Friday we are going to be having a game night at Freedom House from 7-10pm! Hope you can come, and remember to start looking for your cheesy Christmas sweater for the Christmas party!! Hey Everyone!!! For those of you who are coming to the retreat, here is the info: Please meet at the Nelson's house (4 Tanglewood Terrace) at 5:30 sharp on Friday evening ALREADY FED!!! Bring: bible, notebook, pen, clothes for the weekend, toiletries, towel, snack food, sleeping bag, and pillow. If you want to bring extra money for Saturday you can. And as always, bring a positive attitude! Pick up time on Sunday is TBA, we will let you know when you drop them off on Friday. We are still working out some details. It's movie night at the Nelsons this Friday! Please bring your own snack to share, we will supply drinks. Be at the Nelsons (4 Tanglewood Terrace) at 7pm, and arrange for pick up at 10pm.

Hey everyone! This week we will have youth band practice from 6-645pm. Then we will have a service, with our very own youth band playing, and Trevor will be speaking! Reminder that the youth retreat money is due by Sunday October 9th! So if you aren't coming to church on Sunday, you may want to bring it to youth on Friday! The retreat is October 28th-30th at Calvary church in Cambridge, and it will be $65 for the entire weekend! We will be sending home a permission form on Friday.

Hey!! This week we are doing a RAK for the University students! So make sure to bring your non-perishable food and dress to be walking to deliver food ie. if it's raining bring an umbrella ;) Usual time, 7pm-10pm, at the church. We also need to know if you are coming to the retreat the last weekend of October. Your $65 for the retreat is due BEFORE the 9th of October. See you Friday! Remember to collect lots of food!

Welcome back!! Hope you all had a great summer. We are going to start off this year of fantastically fun youth with amazing race! We have changed the amazing race to September 16th due to too many conflicts, this will be our first youth night. Meet at the church at 630 so we can be starting the race by 7, and pick up will be at 10 back at the church. We are planning to go to a Starfield concert on the 30th of September, it is going to cost $15, please have your money to Sarah by the 16th of September! You can always give it to her before that at church too ;) Also, we are going to be doing a RAK for the University Students in our area in a few weeks, and we need non-perishable food items (such as Kraft Dinner, Zoodles, Soup, etc). If you can start bringing some in ASAP that'd be great!! Ask everyone you know if they can spare a few cans :)

So this Friday we are going to the Vos's house in Burford for a campfire. If you need a ride, we will have a few seats for people and will be in the BMO parking lot at 7pm SHARP! Do not be late or we will be leaving without you. If you can get a ride out there, the address is 59 King Street, Burford, ON, drop off is 7, pick up is 10. Saturday, we will be meeting at the Nelson's at 830am. We should be back around 1130pm, but we will have the youth text parents for exact pick up time at the Nelson's. Make sure you bring, money or food for both lunch and dinner, sunblock, appropriate clothing for the weather, and your membership if you have one! Sarah will be bringing all the tickets.

Also, remember to bring your money THIS FRIDAY- the 17th - for wonderland if your coming. So far Brayden Beattie is the only one that has told us he's coming! It's $45 if you don't have a membership and $30 if you do!

Freshwind Registration Money Needed ASAP We will need the $50 registration money by March 18th. This is just to cover our registration cost for the conference. We can break the cost down: March 4th - $10 March 11th - $20 March 18th - $20 Or it can be paid in full. This is to be paid to Sarah Nelson in the form of cash or cheque. If it is not in by the 18th the cost will go up to $70. After the 18th of March we will do a breakdown/payment plan for hotel costs. Freshwind is from April 21-23 and we will be staying in a hotel both nights.
