Freedom House Youth!

Hey, hey, hey..... Just wanted to send out a few reminders for this week and next....  This week we are going to meet at the church form 7-9 and we will be finalizing all the specifics for our fundraiser as well as trying out some of the challenges to ensure they work :).  We would love to see you all out to help prepare and have some laughs along the way!! PARENTS - Don't forget that next week is the fundraiser and you should ALL be there to support!  I have attached the poster for the event which will help you with the details and if you can please let us know ASAP if you will be attending that would be great.  We are trying to finalize food for the event so gathering all numbers is very important! Also, if your child is planning to attend Freshwind we are looking to collect the money for hotel costs no later than Friday March 11.  We are hoping that some of this fee will be covered by the money raised during next weeks event, however we wanted everyone to be aware.

Hey All you AWESOME humans!! This week we are planning to hang out together at the church.  We will be meeting for 7-9 and have a bunch of things to do... We will be playing a bunch of games throughout the night, have a quick message to share with some worship time together..  We are getting closer to Freshwind and it will be important for us to prepare for what God is building within our group and what he has planned for the upcoming weeks. REMINDER - We are only a few weeks away from our Freshwind Fundraiser (Survivor Night)...!  This night will be a "all hands on deck" evening where we need to be sure we invite EVERYONE that we can as the more people that come, the more money we make (which in turn means the less you pay for Freshwind)....!!  Tickets are $15.00 / person or $25.00 for a couple and this will include a full dinner and potential involvement on our Survivor Night!!  If you need more details please let us know.... Yo Yo Yo....  (I totally said that with a MC Hammer song playing in the back ground)... This week we will be hanging out with some amazing folks to watch a movie together as some of the leaders help prepare for Frosty Fest Weekend...!!  Jamie and Hannah Prokop have decided to open their home to us so we can still meet together!!  Jamie and Hannah's address is listed below so everyone knows where to go! 141 Alfred St. Brantford, On - Red Brick House :) EVERYONE should bring snacks to share with the group and as usual the leaders will provide the drinks!!  The movie will be decided on by the group when you all arrive at the Prokop's house so feel free to bring your favorite movie to throw into the mix...... Just remember this is a youth friendly event so it MUST be appropriate (final decision will be given to Jamie and Hannah as the hosts of the event)!! Hello all youths.... As you all know we are heading to Chickapee on Friday to slide down large hills in tubes together...  Here are the VERY IMPORTANT notes for the event..   1. We are meeting at the church for 6:15 at the latest - we will leave without you!!   2. We will be tubing from 7:30 - 9:30   3. We will likely be stopping for food on the way home (McD's or Wendy's) so you may want to bring an extra couple bucks   4. We will be returning to the church for parent pick up around 11:00 (we will keep everyone posted as we are on the way home).   5. DON'T forget to bring your $20.00 to cover the 2 hours of tubing!!     Can't wait to see you all on Friday!!   ~ Distinct Youth Leaders
